Topic: Morphing/Blending two instruments — Feature request

Hi,

I'd like to see a feature like morphing or blending two pianos in order to get a new piano sound. Thank you.

This can be done by using 2 instances of Pianoteq in a DAW I think

Sure, but that's crossfading rather than morphing.

Hard work and guts!

I know, already tried that but this results some crunchy, detuned notes.

Interesting suggestion, thank you Nor.

As EvilDragon said, crossfading wouldn't work, morphing would have to be done at a deeper level.

Re: Morphing/Blending two instruments — Feature request

I'd like to see this too, particularly if you could adjust the degree of morphing (with more or less weight given to one instrument), and the ability to adjust the morphing balance over the range of the keyboard. For example: lower half of keyboard morphed with more weight given to instrument A, upper half of keyboard morphed to give more weight to instrument B.

I'm sure this wouldn't be an easy task, but it would be great!
