Topic: Can I request someone to make an FXP for me?
I listened to the recordings on FXP Corner and none of them had the wow effect that I had when I listened to pianoREADER's videos on YouTube and discovered they used pianoteq which I had never heard of. I love the reverb and the tonal contrast on their configuration, although it might be a bit too mellow when it's quiet. I like it but I'm worried I'd get too comfortable with it when I switch to a real grand. But I like the edge to the sound when they're playing loudly. Their microphone configuration could be a bit better because when it's loud there's not really a difference in actual volume. Maybe that's just my computer's front IO DAC, $20 headphones, or YouTube compression, but I don't know. Here's an example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8DsCgQDFss I tried playing with the settings and I can't for the life of me make a configuration that doesn't sound even faker than my sampled Yamaha P155. The main problem I have with my sampled piano is that when it's playing under mf it still sounds mf tone-wise. but it just sounds fake which is ironic because it's technically a real piano.
