Topic: Need advice for hardware (wireless)

Hello, I'm french so excuse my bad english.
I have a yamaha U1 with a silent system. I try the demo of pianoteq 6 with my pc (i3+SSD+ASIO4 ALL) and it works fine. (a little "synthetic sometimes, but i really enjoy the playability).

My computer isn't near my piano, so i have 2 cables one for the midi and one for the speakers. It's not a good solution for me.
So i want to use PIANOTEQ with "wireless system", with no latency.

Does it exist midi interface with no latency ? and for the sound what can i buy ?

Another aspect is the soundcard, i don't understand if a soundcard with asio drivers is necessary, when i listen the audio demo of the website it feels much bette than the trial demo. What can i do to increase audio quality ?  Does it exist wirelles audio soundcard?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Need advice for hardware (wireless)

There is no such thing as "no latency", especially for wireless.

Wireless audio interfaces don't exist as far as I know. It's not a good idea, anyways, if you want the lowest possible latency. And yes, you should use ASIO for lowest possible latency (and a good audio interface is a prerequisite for having good ASIO drivers, i.e. RME, Focusrite, Steinberg).

1. Use a good DAC/audio interface
2. Use good monitors & headphones

MIDI can be used over Bluetooth/WIFI/Ethernet but it adds a lot of latency. Audio can also be used over Bluetooth/WIFI/Ethernet - also with lots of latency. Wired audio/MIDI connections can solve a lot of those problems.
