Topic: How to use Pianoteq in Kontaktplayer (Native Instruments)

Hi everybody,

I'm new here. Bought Pianoteq Stage 6 this week. Read in the update 6.0 that nks support for Kontakt (Native Instruments) was included. I am a Kontakt user and like to integrate Pianoteq in my (live) playing setup. However until now I did not discover how to do this. For instance: Kontakt does not find the neccasary files in the program directory of Pianoteq. Does anybody know? Thanks in advance ;-)

Pianoteq is not a Kontakt library

You will need to use a plugin host, or live performance hosts like Cantabile or MainStage...

Hard work and guts!

Hi Evildragon,
Thanks for your reaction. On the site of Pianoteq I read this: "Furthermore, new features are introduced along with support for the NKS (Native Kontrol Standard) extended plug-in format from Native Instruments." so I thougt that I could use Pianoteq in the Kontaktplayer .... ;-). And of course the Kontrol player from Native Instruments uses a hardware VST host. I use for instance the Alesis Multimix 16 FW for that. Regards, @b

No, you cannot use it in Kontakt Player, but you CAN use it in Komplete Kontrol.

Hard work and guts!
