How tolerant is the installation licence to minor hardware change.
ie: upgrading to a higher spec cpu/adding more ram.
I assume that anything else would be difficult, motherboard change etc.

I don't know about changing CPU and motherboard, but I added more RAM to my laptop recently and Pianoteq didn't "comment" at all. I would not consider changing CPU to be "minor", however. I imagine adding a drive or RAM would be fine.

If a licence is broken due to some hardware change, the computer is assumed to be a "new" or different computer. I think.
I guess, in such case it's possible to disable/remove the license for the "old" computer to make place for a licence for the "new" one.
Happened to my computer once.
