Topic: Pianoteq and Studio One

Hello,

I currently have Studio One Artist (v2), and Pianoteq 5 as a trial. However, Studio One does not recognize Pianoteq, even if I choose the right folder for the VST plugin.

Does anyone know if it will work if I buy the software ? Or do I need to upgrade to Studio One v3 ? Or both ?
Also, Pianoteq seems to work in trial on Cubase...

Thanks you !

Re: Pianoteq and Studio One

Could it be that somehow Pianoteq ended up on S1's plugin blacklist? Try resetting it, then rescan plugins.

Hard work and guts!

Re: Pianoteq and Studio One

Somehow I don't have VST Plugins like everyone but Instrument library (which I suppose is the same), but I still don't have that reset box to click on

Maybe I should reinstall everything, does Pianoteq normally work with Studio One though ? Maybe it's just the trial version, or my version of Studio One (2.6)

I think you should go to this link where they compare versions.

seems to me that you need add on for support vst for Studio one artist

Re: Pianoteq and Studio One

Thank you for the answer, I understand now but... wow about 90€ add on to be able to add plugins... just way way to expensive. I'll figure out something else

Re: Pianoteq and Studio One

You could try using Reaper, for example. It's a free fully-functional trial for 30 days. You can keep on using it even after those 30 days.

And it's a lot less resource intensive than S1

Hard work and guts!
