Topic: VAX77 folding keyboard update

I have been tracking the development of this midi folding keyboard for a couple of years. It is now for sale ($ 3000.00 US).  I am looking for  opinions about this as a controller for Pianoteq.
It can facilitate Midi 2.0, I hear.

Re: VAX77 folding keyboard update

3000$ for something that doesn't even have 88 keys

Though it does look cool. But the pitch bend is at the most retarded place EVER!

Hard work and guts!

Re: VAX77 folding keyboard update

That thing's destined for the Fugly Keyboard Hall of Shame (much like V-Piano) -- MIDI 2.0-compliant or not!

If they could make it about 20-25 lbs., then I'd be somewhat impressed.  I could imagine hiking with that weight on your back (plus other stuff, of course ;^).

And yes, Mario:  how could that pitch-bend wheel have received any positive feedback at all?!?!??

You said it:  retarded!!!
