Topic: Feature request: Accessibility for my blind friend

I have a blind friend who likes to dabble with microtonal scales.
He is deperate for some software to play the scales he studies and I almost thought I had the solution for him with Pianoteq.

Although his screen reader didn't work with all the sub menus, the keyboard shortcuts were very helpful. Unfortunately he couldn't use keyboard shortcuts to load a SCALA file.

My feature request on my friend's behalf is for Pianoteq to:
1. Have keyboard shortcuts for the alternate scale submenus.
2. Have Pianoteq work better with screen readers for blind people.

An easy hack would be for Pianoteq to open SCALA files from the file browser native to the OS. This would enable my blind friend to open his SCALA file creations using his screen-reader-friendly file browser.

Re: Feature request: Accessibility for my blind friend

Hi,

Just a suggestion for a possible workaround until accessibility improves: have you dabbled with AutoHotKey macros or equivalents? This might be a way of bending Pianoteq to your requirements in the meantime (haven't tested it, I am using the Stage version).
