Topic: Another "Velocity curve" question

Consider a portion of velocity curve from (0, 0) to (20, 15)...
If we play a note with a velocity of 10, then the resulting output value should be 7.5
What happens with Pianoteq? Is it able to play this value? Does it play 7? 8? what?
Thanks
SK

Pianoteq will interpolate the straight portion of the velocity curve.  I do not know the number of significant figures of the interpolation.  Suffice to say, it will be in the ballpark of 7 to 8, but I do not know if it will be 7.0 (rounding down to the nearest integer, 7.50 (keeping two or three or more significant figures) or if it will round up to 8.0, the next larger integer.

Cheers,

Joe

sigasa take note of that. It may mean your straightline 'curves' work perfectly as intended.
