Topic: set temperament in Pianoteq Stage

Hi,

I was very impressed with the temperament tools (the different Werckmeister temperaments an so on) when I tried the Trial Version. That's why I bought the Pianoteq Stage version now. But after installing it, what a disappointment: I don't find any way to set the temperament!!! I see only "diapason". Where did it go??

If this is not possible in Pianoteq Stage, I'll take back my purchase and continue with the Demo version, because the temperament tool (with harpsichord sounds) is why I need it!

Re: set temperament in Pianoteq Stage

I think in Pianoteq Stage you can only use the preset's default temperament. You can edit the Tuning parameters (diapason, temperament) in Pianoteq Standard and Pro.

Re: set temperament in Pianoteq Stage

It seems that you are right - what a mess! The 250 € for the standard version are way too much for my simple purposes of temperament demostrations...
Thank you anyway!

Re: set temperament in Pianoteq Stage

You don't have to pay 250€ if you already own the Stage version. You just crossgrade to it and pay 150€, which is much more acceptable (and gives you greater flexibility too, with microphone setup page - this is where you can influence your sound VERY much!).

By the way, you could have informed yourself better before the purchase - there is a table of differences between the three versions on Pianoteq website (and in the manual - temperament adjustment is considered as "piano model tweaking"). AND it's also quite obvious that there's no such adjustment on the interface of Pianoteq Stage:
