Very nice playing.
Are you sure your piano isn't a Yamaha U3(?), as it looks much taller than a regular U1, but not quite as tall as a standard YamahaU5. You can verify which model it is, simply by lifting the lid and peering at the gold-painted, cast iron frame at the upper right hand side of the frame; the model number is cast into the frame and the U plus 1, 3, or 5 are painted black.
Just my two shekels worth,
Joe
Thanks Joe for your kind words! I have opened the lid many a times, and it is definitely a U1. In fact I figured out the build year by looking up the serial number in the Yamaha web site. In addition I made this DIY felt screen between the hammers and the strings, by using a broom stick and some fishing string. It looks bad, but it sorta works. Those older models had only two pedals ...
Thanks for the tip though :-)
P.S. A hundredth of a Shekel is called "Agora", or in plural "Agorot" so those would be the proper equivalent of a cent.
P.S Here's one that looks exactly like mine:
