Topic: ecperience using external crossfeed software versus Pianoteq Binaural

Since I use Tooneboosters Isone for getting a better soundfield using headphones playing Hauptwerk virtual organs, I gave it a try with Pianotec.

Switching form Stereo to Binaural in Pianoteq removes the exaggerated Left/Right experience on phones; it does that job very well.

But my own experience is, that using the stereo setting combined with Isone gives me a far more transparent and in front of me experience.

Has anybody also experimented with soundfield processing on phones?? I use AKG K550 and Senneheiser HD 595. The latter is better for piano, the AKG, being a closed one, is better for organ ( more bass).

No, but I am experimenting to add 2 microphones on a player's perspective to an existant recording preset.
So far, that gives me a good experience
