Topic: Holiday offers?

On the last Modart offer there was no Stage-to-Standard upgrade offer, only Stage-to- Pro upgrade offer.

I had hoped for a Christmas and New Year offer that would include Stage-to-Standard upgrade.

Anyone else interested in this?

Ian

Re: Holiday offers?

Yes, Ian - I'm definitely also interested in a holiday promotion to upgrade from Stage-to-Standard!  I thoroughly enjoy the Stage version of Pianoteq but all I need now is a little incentive to begin using the expanded features in Standard.

Re: Holiday offers?

But I would like a special offers for Russian users. Ruble almost halved against dollar/euro for several month. It's equavalently to almost doubling price for all Modartt products.

Yes... For this reason I haven't upgraded during last "Black Friday" to Pro version. The price with 30% discount was the same, as before, for Ruble)) But I think, this is not a problem, Modartt must think about. The price is the same for all users through the world.

Re: Holiday offers?

One downside of holiday and special offers is that those who paid full price during the year feel ripped off. Especially if the offer is a significant discount. This can change consumer behavior, and hurt both the consumer and company in the long run. I prefer the old slogan, "everyday low prices."

So I guess you are a "pro" user then?

Those who paid full price have decrease of happiness, those who paid with discount have increase of happiness. Total happiness in the universe is unchanged.

Re: Holiday offers?

It could be nice to add to the website some piano performances about christmas.

Re: Holiday offers?

I considered the black Friday opportunity to upgrade from Standard to Pro for 30% discount, I procrastinated for too long though.
I am not a "sounds tweaker" and don't use more than maybe 4 presets anyway.
Stage (Play as it was then) would have been enough for me.
I was hesitant about upgrading to ptq5, didn't see it as worth it, waited quite a while before buying that.

Maybe next time ?, maybe if there is a bundle deal at ptq6 intro ?
I guess they can't make the deals/offers/gifts TOO predictable by dates and seasons or we would all be on standby for the next price break

Or for Americans living in Russia! Since I just moved to Moscow for a job that pays in rubles, I'd also love a discount on my student loans and other expenses I still have to pay in USD. I keep asking, but no one is taking me seriously!
