Topic: Pianoteq christmas gift

The Christmas gift from Modartt this year:

https://www.pianoteq.com/klausprausch

The folk harp sounds very realistic.
Finally a harp for pianoteq.

Thanks Modartt.

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

A great big thank you to Modartt for your kindnesses

Kindest Regards and a very happy Christmas,

Chris

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

Considering that it requires only KIViR and Legacy M3 to work, free add-on, and feature many models somehow derived from Rock Collection, this is very valuable specially for who do not owns the Rock Collection.

I don't know how exactl Klaus P.Rausch initially did it, maybe with help of Modartt using more deep adjusts than presente in Pro interface, but it's very creative.
It shows how powerfull it's pianoteq in creating new versatile sounds.

If you have suggestions to Mr Rausch, maybe you can contact hin:

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I can see these presets in the downloads tab of my account, but I get a "version mismatch" when I install them. Are they for Pianoteq 4 minimum?

Yes, that is correct. Users of Pianoteq 3 cannot load this add-on file. You can upgrade to Pianoteq 4 for just 29 € at https://www.pianoteq.com/buy (click on the 'update to version 4' box). We will try to be more explicit in the user area to those who still are using Pianoteq 3.

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

Thank you Modartt for your Christmas gift. I like the JourneySurvivor sound the most. Fantastic!

Thanks!

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I downloaded the two files (KPRAUSCH.ptq et V3.ptq).
KIViR is already installed in my presets.
I drop both files on my Pianoteq interface, but nothing happens.
I can see V3.ptq in my add-ons list but nothing like Kprausch...
?? Thanks for your help...

Hi Gaston. You need version 4.5.4 to be able to use this add-on. We will add this info in the user area to prevent further confusion.

The free add-ons Kivir and M3 are needed for some of the presets. Some other presets are based on instruments such as the Rhody, Wurly and Clavinet. Customers with a licence of the Electric Pianos and Clavinet add-ons can thus load all the presets in full mode (without restrictions).

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I have Pianoteq Standard 4.5.1, with V3 and KViR, but the christmas gift does not work.

:-(

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I updated to 4.5.4, now I can install the KPRAUSCH, but I only see one preset under CP80 and one under M3. No harp.

You can find the Folk Harp preset in the Rhody R2 sub-menu.

Ah, I don't have that addon. So for the regular user its just 2 presets.

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I was hoping it was a new add-on ...

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

A lovely gift.

Cool thing: W1 Space Wire is very resonant in interesting ways. If you strike any note and just listen for a few seconds you'll hear what I mean. Try this in different temperaments (sustain pedal down) and listen to how the interaction of beats changes depending on the temperament and which note you play.

I also made the upgrade to 4.5.4, and I make the same observation :
only 2 presets, unless I buy the Rock collection bundle...

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

I have just a simple of make, humble, but possibly nice request.

Turn the organ piano preset (nice one by the way) into just a organ sound preset.

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

Personally i suggest the clavinet add-on being merged as part of the electric pianos add-on.... cause it is an electric piano.

You should see the Rhody, Wurly and Clavinet instruments in the Electric Pianos section in the preset menu.

Like this: (Rhody instrument selected)

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

Hi,

addon is installed and seems to work. Very nice, thanks.

One question: the displayed status "overridden" is normal, I assume?

(Edit: question withdrawn. I was missing the V3 addon, apparently.)

Pianoteq 6 Standard (Steinway D&B, Grotrian, Petrof, Steingraeber, Bechstein, Blüthner, K2, YC5, U4, Kremsegg 1&2, Karsten, Electric, Hohner)

Re: Pianoteq christmas gift

What about a pianoteq Band???

There is already a piano, a guitar, Drums.

There was a fxp os a bass. I supose now a bass can be created better, with more add-on options to play around trying to get it.

Perhaps the steel drums can be ajdusted to sound like similar to typical Drums.

Indeed it IS a "free gift" - as long as you BUY something else to make 10/12 of it work.
Nothing is for nothing.

An amusing sales gimmick nonetheless.

I also get this "overridden" status when I added KPRausch, while V3 and Kivir are also added and they work fine.

What can I do?

Pianoteq Pro Studio with Bösendorfer, Shigeru Kawai and Organteq
