Topic: Peavey DPM C8 Damperpedal

Hi,

I'm new here, have used Pianoteq for a week.
I use a Peavey DPM C8 as a controller, and I'm looking for halfdamper control.
The damper pedal I am using now is Roland DP-10, which is capable of sending a halfdamper signal, but the C8 still sees it as just a switch.
Maybe someone here knows a setting I might have missed, or do I need another pedal?

Thanks,

Tako

Re: Peavey DPM C8 Damperpedal

Apart from the C8 being a bit... 'vintage', the available documentation suggests that it has only footswitch and CV inputs. The DP-10 is actually neither, but apparently it is recognised as a footswitch.

Re: Peavey DPM C8 Damperpedal

Yes, 'vintage' it is.... But I'm on a tight budget, and serves my needs (for now...)
I have found a setting that works, the DP-10 connected to one of the cv inputs sends 127 steps to my computer.
The DP-10 can be switched between continuous or just a switch, which is why I hoped it would do the trick.
But the footswitch input on the c8 sees just that, a switch. The cvpedal input sees all values, all good.
