Topic: Where are the VST plugins?

New user Stage version.

When installing all the check boxes were checked including the VST plugins - yet I don't seem them in the Modart or stage 5 folder.

I want to run them (Stage 5) in a VST host program such as Cubase.

Any ideas - thanks - Mac.

Re: Where are the VST plugins?

The setup program should explicitely ask/tell you where it is going to install the VSTs, i.e. you have in fact confirmed the VST locations during installation. Sometimes not just clicking 'next' all the time but actually reading installer messages can really help.

PS: the defaults on Windows are (if I recall correctly) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Vstplugins" and "C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins".

Thanks kalessin, I was  expecting them to be in the cubase directory - found it - up and running in cubase now.
