Topic: Cheap old upright + PNOscan strip....?

Just thinking about this.... what if i bought a cheap old upright (or even got one free) just for the action, and install a pnoscan sensor strip on it?

How much would such a setup cost, and how well would it work?

I wouldn't do that... A cheap old upright would most likely have a very nasty action.

I think if you take a MP8 Kawai it's a best deal.

Yeah, good point... but what if i could find a not too expensive one with a decent action?

How much does this control strip cost anyway? i haven't seen a price on any website that talks about it....

Probably, and guaranteed to work well.... anyway thanks for the advice. (i'm still curious how much the pnoscan strip costs)

I found a price on line of about $2K.  That and a lot of work when the price of the VPC-1 is around $1.8K?  You might be better going that way.
