Topic: Saving Spectrum Profile adjustments.
The Spectrum Profile panel is the most fiddly part of Pianoteq. It enhances the sound and mood of the piano.
Could Mordartt include the ability to save Spectrum Profile adjustments?

You mean save as presets? That's a good idea.
Well, you can save it in a preset, and then use the freeze feature to transport it to another instrument. But likely another instrument will require another spectrum profile...
It could be useful to have some more tools for spectrum editing (edit only odd, only even, etc. harmonics)...

You do have some tools in the dropdown menu on the right side: simple draw, haircut, fill only, harmonic1, harmonic2, etc. There's also the very useful "rescale" button that I use very often: make a variation and then adjust its intensity by clicking on this button and moving the mouse up and down.
Oh right, completely forgot about that.
Well, I can imagine how saving presets for the Spectrum NE pane could be valuable. Experimenting with a wide range of notes and cutting specific partials, such as the 7th, or raising the fundamental a little would be made easier with such presets.
Is there also a limitation with the current tools? Doesn't the IH of upper partials on a piano mean that editing odd or even partials may not accomplish what might be expected?
(But of course, I still also want to be able to edit the pitches of each partial. Perhaps for an advanced, more expensive, Designer edition of Pianoteq. )

Hi Philippe,
I have done this. It just seems a bit long winded. Especially if you just want to quickly try ones you like.
