Topic: Feature request: remember window states?

This would be really useful, especially for the standalone. Currently, only the main window's position is remembered (kind of) and on startup all other windows are closed.

I'd really like it if on startup, the windows that were open before last closing Pianoteq (mics placement, preset list, effects, etc.) would still be open and at the same positions as they were before. Maybe even remember the state (attached/detached) and position of other windows that aren't open....if that makes sense?

Re: Feature request: remember window states?

Hm. I personally dislike applications that do that. The most important feature for me is actually the 'reset UI' function in that case. I.e., I can live with an application that remembers state when I can at least actively reset a cluttered UI.

I would like this as an option if one could retain the open NE panes and their position on the screen. The user could check a box to "Retain the current state of the interface on restarting. "

...yeah, speaking of which, bug report:

What i meant by "kind of" -- Each time i close pianoteq and start it again, the window places itself about 25 pixels lower than it was. Maybe due to the title bar height (not?) being included in the window placement calculation?

Anyway, just a small annoyance, but i thought i'd rse pianoteq and start iteport it anyway.
