Topic: Global setting request

I have been using Pianoteq Stage for about a year and was thinking it would be really helpful if there were global setting that could be set in the software. At a minimum it would be nice to be able to globally set the output to Mono or Stereo depending on your gigging situation. I would also want to be able to set the velocity to match the keyboard provided at a gig. Currently I set that in each patch and need to remember if I change a patch live to make sure those settings are updated in the currently selected patch.

I can also see the benefit in being able to override all the settings on a global basis. Sometimes I get an effect just right and then want to try it on a different piano patch. Also, depending on what other plugins I have I may want to turn off some of the action sounds as they seem to require more processing at at times that can end up being a problem. Again, I know I can set this all in each patch but that seems to be the long way to get there.

You can globally freeze settings of your choosing to stay through patch switches

Awesome!  Thanks, Sage.

It irks me that the only way you can save a preset is in the context of one of the piano models. I would like a feature that allows me to save and load presets that only have a subset of parameters from all those that are available.

So, unlike today, where you load a preset, freeze various parameters and then switch to the piano model that you are interested in playing, this new feature, when a preset is loaded, would freeze all parameters except those that are in the preset and then apply its parameters to the piano model currently in use.

The main reason I want this feature is for its elegance...I mean it isn't all that difficult for me to keep doing things as I have been.
