Last full release was years ago. I think this will be useful for many people here

Re: ASIO4ALL 2.11 released yesterday

Hear this news and upgraded justly, sound breaks excessively.
I am using Windows 7 versions 64 bits computer. Buffer size had used without problem by 64samples.
What is problem? Please help me ~.

Don't try to fix what is not broken !

No harm done. Just uninstall and re-install the older version.
I'm getting 1.3ms of latency while I was getting 2.7ms before, but I only played for 1/2 hour. If this persists, then it's a nice development, even though I didn't perceive the 2.7ms lag.

Thank you. Returned again in 2.11 Beta2 versions because solution does not become.

You should probably report it to the author so it can get fixed.

Re: ASIO4ALL 2.11 released yesterday

Bah, I can reproduce the problem on one of my systems (Windows 7 64-bit with a Realtek chip). I'm reporting as much info as possible to the author, let's hope it can get fixed.

But for now you might want to keep a copy of beta2 around for PianoTeq!

Re: ASIO4ALL 2.11 released yesterday

It works without problems here. In fact, my Zoom R24 is a lot more stable when I use it via ASIO4ALL than the 'native' ASIO driver, and fortunately this holds true still.

After getting glitches from high cpu usage, I had to dial back. I brought the internal sample rate down to 3200HZ, the buffer size to 96 samples, and now my system is pretty stable at 2ms latency. I probably could have gotten this performance before the update.

It looks like this ASIO4ALL update is mostly a fix for bugs. A great program, however, given that it is free.

For me, it is the opposite - I am running Xonar Essence ST with Unixonar 3rd party drivers..

Re: ASIO4ALL 2.11 released yesterday

New binary is up on the website.

...and it fixes the problems reported here!

Weird enough, ASIO4All works better than my native Xonar DX ASIO driver. I'm using the unixonar drivers too, but the sound is glitchy when I use the supplied driver. At least in my Cubase 5.

Re: ASIO4ALL 2.11 released yesterday

Nice to know, thank you for posting. Asio4all still has its values.
