Topic: Grand D4v4? What is it?

I download a FXP file in the FXP corner, which shows based on Grand D4v4, but when I open it in PT5 stage, it can't be opened because "unavailable instrument". I'm curious about what Grand D4v4 is, is there a advanced version of D4 need to be purchased?

Re: Grand D4v4? What is it?

It's the D4 from Pianoteq 4 that can be opened in version 5. I'm pretty sure you need standard to use it, or you're using the trial version...

Stage can load D4v4.  Download from user area, legacy instruments.

Done! Thanks a lot!

Yeah, some users were saying that the Steinway D from Pianoteq version 5 was too different from the one in version 4 / 4.5 ...so Modartt released the v4 version as a separate instrument. That way, users don't need to keep two versions of pianoteq installed, and switch back&forth between the two.
