Topic: Feature request: Freeze parameter via context menu

Dear PTQ developers,

It just occurred to me while I was freezing the velocity curve, that it would be very handy to freeze it directly from the context menu, instead (or in addition) to looking it up in the freeze dialog. So this would apply for any parameter I guess..

I would be grateful if you considered it in future updates.

Many thanks,
Eran

Not a bad idea. I will agree with that request.

Hard work and guts!

Re: Feature request: Freeze parameter via context menu

Feature request: One thing I'd like to see is, when you purchase the software and you have demo instruments, when the demos time-out, could the software switch back to the purchased version, rather than time-out? This was driving me crazy. I thought I'd installed the demo version and tried uninstalling then reinstalled the software a couple of times.
The answer was in the FAQs by the way.

I like the general idea, here, but I might prefer a small button to click beside each parameter, so that we could see that the parameter was frozen.

Initially it had crossed my mind as well, but I fear such buttons would clutter up the interface. The context menu will show you whether "freeze" is checked or not. If you want a global view of what's frozen - the existing dialog already gives you that...

Re: Feature request: Freeze parameter via context menu

I think buttons would clutter the interface, too. But it would be cool if the control itself could go semi-transparent, for example (I know it's easy to do that with JUCE ) to show which ones are actually frozen.

Hard work and guts!
