Topic: 5.0.1 confusion (Resloved)

Perhaps it's me.  I just installed the newer version of PT 5.0.1.  Try as I may, it seems that the VSTi is still at 5.0.0!  Is this correct?

Try re-installing, and making sure all of the necessary boxes are checked?

Also did you change the location that the VST's were installed? Is your DAW looking in a different folder?

I noticed that the installer for 5.0.1 asked for the install location for the 32-bit and 64-bit VST's again, and I had to re-enter the folder locations so that it would overwrite properly. (I've setup a custom folder for my VST's). Perhaps this is relevant to you as well?


Edit: replaced "program" with DAW to be less vague

I did a reinstall... I'll give it another go.
So you're saying the VSTi is also 5.0.1?

Got it - Now I remember - I had Studio One open with the PT demo loaded on a track and the installer quit.
