Topic: "Performance index" calculation

Hello Pianoteq dev team

I'm just curious about how the "performance index" reported on the setup/options page is calculated.

Also, how is it different in standalone vs. plugin mode?

It is just a measurement of a few operations inside Pianoteq during sound generation. It is not a very good benchmark because the 'perf index' depends a little bit on what has been played. It should be the same in the standalone and in the plugin.
