Topic: Newbie question: Should I uninstall Pianoteq 4.5?

I qualified for the free upgrade to P5, but I noticed the installation left the previous version, both the standalone *.exe and the vst.

Is there a reason or advantage in keeping both?

Hmmm Crazy.... My standalone exe was overwriting by Version 5 but Not the vsti.....

Only worth keeping V4 if you want to use it again. For example if you have old projects in a sequencer such as cubase etc that use version 4 of Pianoteq. Or if you like the sound of v4, or want to use fxp files that users have made for V4.

Yes. All v4 models sound different in Pianoteq 5. Keep Pianoteq 4 for compatibility with your DAW projects.
