Topic: Version 5 upgrade - ordering issues

Hi,

Ive just ordered the upgrade from Pianoteq Stage 4 to Standard 5,
and the serial number supplied cannot be registered,
I get  the error "The reference serial for the upgrade is wrong or missing"

Ive replied to sales@pianoteq.com to see if it can be fixed, but just 'heads up' on the forum in case a more general problem.

Also, I tried to pay by paypal, but got an error from paypal saying certificate was invalid... so had to use visa instead.  (again a heads up)

Hope you can sort my issues out quickly, I have the next few hours to dig into Pianoteq 5

ok, so I found a way to register the license!

you have to click on 'upgrade to Standard/pro' and there you can enter the new license.

BUT it still doesn't work

now when I go to the downloads page there are no downloads available!!

arghh, so infuriating, so near, yet so far

Tried to upgrade from 4.5 PRO to 5 PRO. Website will not allow it. Actually it just puts nothing in the shopping cart.

Anyway I downloaded the trial, I must say Wow!! It's really good from what I just played and heard.

Same problem with firefox, when i click a product, nothing adds to the cart.
Actually, this happens everywhere on the website, the JS console says "PTQ.Popup is undefined".

It works on chrome but not firefox.

Just heads up about another potential problem.

Paid (succesfully) through Paypal for the upgrade from 4.5 to 5. Then, after getting redirected back to the modartt page, got:

You have attempted to use the same promotional code twice. Please contact us

Considering I didn't use any promotional code, don't see how I could have used it twice. Mailed sales about it.

ETA: Modartt fixed it extremely promptly :-D

Superficially, this reminds me of the ObamaCare technical debacle which Americans are going through.  One tries to purchase the product (with expectations) and gets massive technical chaos, leading to demoralization.   In my case, I was trying to upgrade from Standard 4.5 to Standard 5.0 for $39.00 and was receiving a billing request for over $500.00.   Decided to wait a few hours.

Modarrt is excellent, so all this should get resolved in short order.

Hi I bought "Pianoteq4 stage" yesterday and registered Serial number now.
So There is a licence of Pianoteq5 Stage in my Registered Products page.
But , now when I go to the downloads page there are no downloads available!!
What should I do??

Patience please. I am quite sure Modartt will sort out all the ordering issues. Meanwhile just enjoy your 4.5 version for few more hours/days :-)
I just listened to few demos at work (using my crappy headphones) and I really like them. Can't wait until I use my HD598 at home.

Hum...
Je n'ai pas tout compris.
J'ai payé l'upgrade à la v5 via Paypal mais j'ai eu ensuite un message comme quoi une vérification devait être faite auprès de ma banque.
Ce n'est pas la procédure normale de Paypal, en principe on paye et on a le ticket d'entré.
J'avais en principe un code promo et il a été refusé comme quoi il était déjà utilisé, sur le fond ça ne me dérange pas trop de ne plus avoir ce code, je l'avais refusé mais ce qui m'embête c'est s'il est parti dans la poche de quelqu'un d'autre.
Bref je ne peux que tester la version démo actuellement et je me demande quand je pourrais passer à la nouvelle version qui m'a l'air en effet vraiment bien avec une densité dans le son qu'on n'avait pas jusqu'à présent.
Et le K2 me semble vraiment être un beau piano.

Bon il suffisait d'attendre un peu en fait, ça y est c'est téléchargé.
Je n'avais pas compris que le K2 remplaçait le K1, c'est une bonne surprise.
Ce piano me semble être excellent, je ne cherche pas à savoir si ça ressemble à un piano que je connais, c'est un piano à part entière, vous reste plus qu'à le mettre en une caisse de piano avec une bonne mécanique et amplification et le vendre en magasin de piano sous la marque Pianoteq, posé à côté des Steinway, Yamaha et autres Bosendorfer.

I can't seem to get the ordering process to work at all.

I click on BUY IT ($39 upgrade).  Nothing happens.

I click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.   Nothing happens.

I have no other ideas.

UPDATE:   It is now working properly.    I was able to purchase and download and activate the new version.

Keeps telling me error on page. I cannot get to check-out.
