Topic: Pianoteq K1

google translate :

What do you think of K1?
I bought Pianoteq for D4 and add on Bluethner thinking that I would never play the K1 and finally when I work at home I found that the K1 (patch player) is the one that sounds the most realistic in my fingers one who gives me the impression of playing on a real piano.
And you?  Your impressions?

Re: Pianoteq K1

Bonjour.

Some people prefered Bluthner over all pianoteq grand models due sound tone be considered more natural and playablility sytill very good.
Other people prefer D4 over Bluthner, saying the playability it's better and the model be close to a true Steinway.

And some like you prefer K1.

It's a matter of taste I presume.

I have always liked the K1, especially with the Close Mic Contrast preset.

K1 sounds good with headphones.

Re: Pianoteq K1

I love K1 because is more real in my small room, I hear a small piano like a Kawai GX1.

Re: Pianoteq K1

I agree, I love the K1 too.
For me it makes me think like a "grandmother's piano".
It has an "engaged" sound. The D4 is more neutral to my ears.
Hope the new K2 will be a good upgrade in the same tone.

Record by câmera mic from a laptop, but if you listen with headphones maybe get some few idea.

Difficult to judge in such circunstances, but I felt the metal sound in the high trebble it's quite more organic now.
