Topic: New user from Scotland

Pianoteq Stage 4.5.4 now installed and my thanks to L134 (Roger) for the license transfer and to N***** at customer support.

I am very pleased with my setup:

Lenovo x201T,  i7, 8GB with Echo IOS ExpressCard audio interface and Roland UM-ONE USB/Midi to Behringer XENYX 1002FX mixer.  Master keyboard (unfortunately semi weighted)  is a Kurzweil K1200 Pro 88 key.  ASIO 41kHz , 128 samples,  latency is 2.5ms.

I presently listen using my Beyer DT-770 headphones as my master keyboard is in a different room to my main Yamaha Tyros 5/76 and amplifier/speaker setup (JBL 80W+80W r.m.s.  150W r.m.s sub)

More importantly,  I am very pleased with Pianoteq Studio.

So on with the practicing.

Ian

Well, welcome to having Pianoteq . .   I couldn't help notice that you have Beyerdynamic headphones . . . I do too . . they are great.

This page http://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthread...cs/1732875 includes what may be (a bit hard to be certain, discussion's a bit reminiscence-loose) a pic of your Kurzweil, plus fanusercomments elsewhere.

And I'm a fan of Scottish architecture. Well-planned then done, maybe because climate-fighting.

Lanny,

I would buy these again even without testing other brands.   I have worn them almost every day for twenty years and as a result have had to renew the earpads and once fix a break in an internal wire.

Worth every penny!

Custral,

Yes this is a pic of my Kurzweil 1200 Pro 88.   I bought(unseen and for £1,700) the first to be imported into the UK which I'm sure was in1989.

Hey guys,

I'm sure some of you have experience with the AKG K240 Studio.  Thoughts on how those compare with the DT770 Pros?
