Topic: Another recording with the Blüthner

Hi - here is another recording I did with the Blüthner add-on in PTQ Stage 4.5.

Preset used was "Blüthner Model One AB"

Hope you like it

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Very good!

Hard work and guts!

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Very nicely done -- beautifully serene.  I really like the chords that anchor things beneath your treble work.

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

very well done.

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Nice feeling... balanced and inspiring...

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Sweet - I like that a lot.

Glenn (I've been lost for a while)

PS to ED (Mario):  I kept a copy of your HR No.2 - played it last night using the Bluther Concrete Recording BA - nice.

Thanks for the lovely comments!

I have made a video of myself playing it on my upright - it should make an interesting comparison with the Pianoteq version, but should also serve as a tutorial for those of you who wanted to play the chord sequence

Wow, great! Thank you Ben for this lovely chord sequence

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Hi Ben, is it possible to find the book with the sheet music on the US?

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Your upright piano sounds very well tuned, and the sound it's very clear.  It's rare to find a upright piano vídeo so well recorded.

At the moment, the easiest way is probably to buy them from me. Feel free to pm me

I did approach a distributor at NAMM a couple of years ago, who told me they will import stuff from Spartan Press, but only those specific scores which get enough enquiries (I think it was Alfred, although Spartan aren't mentioned on their distribution list).

Thanks - I've just had it tuned. I recorded it into iMovie for iPad using a Zoom H2 via the camera connection adaptor. It is pretty tricky to get the levels right, as you can hear by the slight clip on the loud chord just before the end

Re: Another recording with the Blüthner

Awsome Ben, just sent you a pm.

Nice piece !!
