So I had a question about the AB versus the BA presets on the D4. I do see that the mics are just inverted. However, the BA also has the stereo enhancement all the way up to 5 while the AB presets do not. Why is that? Why didn't they just invert the mics and only invert the mics? Which one, in your opinion, is better to record with?

Dunno why Modartt made it like so, but I can tell you that you can do great recordings no matter which preset you use.

There was not really a strong reason to enhance the stereo width in the BA presets on the D4. We just found it sounded nice with this enhancement, but of course this may be adjusted at your own taste.
