Topic: Pianoteq and ASIO Drivers?
I'm running Pianoteq Stage on a Windows 7 laptop. In order to minimize any latency, I've been using an ASIO Driver from ASIO4ALL (v2). It's been working great -- as long as I'm running only Pianoteq. It so happens that I also own an iPad where I run (or want to run) Yamaha's Notestar app. It's basically an app that allows you to "play along with the band". Because I don't get adequate sound from my iPad when running it thru my cheap mixer, I tried running it directly thru the laptop, using the mic port. It turns out that the iPad sound is much better when connected this way.
However, whenever the laptop's "mic" port is active, the ASIO Drivers are disabled in Pianoteq. I would like to use Pianoteq while "playing along with the band" in Notestar, but that only works if I use the Windows sound drivers, but then that introduces latency.
Is there an ASIO driver available that would work for me? - ie - one that doesn't get disabled in Pianoteq whenever the mic port is activated?
Thanks!
