Topic: Got pianoteq, quite happy with it

So, finally got myself the "stage" edition, so far i'm quite impressed by how "sincere" the piano sounds are. You don't need a ton of reverb for it to sound good and expressive. There's just a weird metallic quality with the really low notes, that doesn't sound natural... this is especially present in the D4 model.

I just wish i could easily see which sounds are included only as demo (some notes missing + 20 min. limit) ...perhaps put the menu entries in a different color, or simply add (demo) to the menu entries?

(i also need a stronger machine to use it as VST in Renoise :3 :3)

Re: Got pianoteq, quite happy with it

Well, you can judge pianoteq technology by their latest piano model U4 (a add on of a upright piano). It's quite more natural in tone than D4.

The next future models tend to be as good or even better.

D4 model was made earlier and the technology was not as refined, but still quite good.

In the update of 4.5 version, many earlier models (like D4) got some few improvement, like in the atacks, but the tone still remambers aspects of earlier version of such model.
