Topic: Two older SOS articles on reverb: applying EQ to reverb

Ran across these yesterday and thought they might be general interest. Sometimes elementary. Much of the information is about creating a unified sense of a room when mixing several instruments, but it has some interesting discussions of applying EQ to reverb--of cutting both lows and highs. Not just damping the highs with a lp filter. No discussion of doing this to a solo piano, but it creates many fairly strong variations in the overall sound, although the results vary greatly, of course, over different ranges. Also discusses using two reverbs. Makes me wonder about what might result from being able to apply different reverbs and EQ'ing each on separate mic's:
