Topic: Pianoteq Video Training

Hi - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention here (moderater - please delete if not allowed) that I have created a Pianoteq video training guide.

Prior to it being made available, if you would like to see one of the tutorials, please go to:

MUSICAL NOTES - Pianoteq Video Training

If prompted for a password, use the following:

MusicalNotes

Enjoy.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

In response to a question I received, if prompted - the password is:

MusicalNotes

and not

Musical Notes.

No gap.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

To celebrate the new release of the MUSICAL NOTES Getting Started video training guide to Pianoteq 4, if purchased this weekend you can buy it for only £10.

With a run time of over 80 minutes, this is a complete 'Getting Started' guide to Pianoteq 4 and is designed to help new users get comfortable with Pianoteq's layout and how to operate it.

PLEASE NOTE: This training course is Windows only. MAC version is coming soon.

ONCE PURCHASED: You will have 2 days to download the 288mb zip file.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Do you believe people would pay 10 euros just for don't read the manual?

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Hi Folks,

Like you, I'm a huge fan of 'Pianoteq' and, consequently, spent around 30 hours producing this video training guide (with integrated video player for convenience) to help the type of user that prefers videos to get up and running easily and quickly with this brilliant VSTi.

If you would like to download a demo of the course with the first 30 - 60 seconds of each movie available to watch, please click the following link to download a 38mb zipped file.

Sorry, still Windows only. I'm working on the MAC version at the moment.

Thanks for the support.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

I respect your work creating such videos.

I just said I'm not sure if people would pay 10 euros to watch.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Owing to popularity, the original link has been viewed so many times that the monthly bandwidth has been reached. Therefore, if you can't see it for a couple of days, try the DEMO link here.

Thanks

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Hello ESG,

After previewing the demo I purchased your video. So far I have only viewed the first 3 segments but I must congratulate you for the clear and concise instruction.

I do have a question/concern about how I can rewind or fast forward as there are certain parts I would like to review without re-watching the entire segment. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Rick

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Hello Rick (rtucker55),

I'm glad you have found the tutorials useful to you.

At present, the way to navigate can only be done by selecting the individual chapters.

So, I'll build a separate version for you with extra navigation functions and get it to you as soon as it's done.

However, owing to the download size, I'll have to make the movies lower resolution versions, if that's ok. You'll still be able to watch the full resolution versions with the copy you have at present. But, should you need to navigate within a single movie, you'll be able to use the new Low-Res version.

I'll let you know as soon as it's done.

Thanks

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Hi ESG,

WOW, That is exactly what I was hoping for. I love the horizontal scroll bar that allows me to move to any time position within the video segment. I am overjoyed!

Thank You again.

Kind regards,
Rick

Hi Rick - You're more than welcome. Have fun.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Hi, I'm interested and I think 10€ is a right price to have those information better explained than on the manual.

I've only one question: If I buy now the Windows version of the video should I pay again for the Mac version (I own a Mac @home) ? And when the Mac version will be available ?

Thanks, best regards.

Roberto.

Hi Roberto,

I do have the MAC version conversion completed and it's been tested on the latest MACS.

Therefore, can I suggest you buy the WINDOWS version first? And, then I'll send you a link to freely download the MAC version.

When you buy the WINDOWS version, you will immediately see a link to download it for 2 days.

In the meantime, I'll provide you with a 'secret' link to get at the MAC version as soon as possible afterwards - this won't be immediate owing to having to manually upload  first.

I have to do it this way because the shopping cart software I use doesn't allow free products.

Hope this helps.

Re: Pianoteq Video Training

Ok, I've just bought the Windows version, please send me also the link to download the Mac version.

Please, if possible send me the version whit horizontal bar to manage the video.

Regards, Roberto.

Hi Roberto,

OK - seeing as you request the additional scroll navigation, I'll rebuild the MAC viewer and get it to you asap. I'll get it done this evening and get it to you.

Thanks

You just need some marketing in a way that make people curious.

PS: I'm not making fan of your work. i'm just saying you need to put something more in the vieos, something to atract people, something interesting.
