Topic: transfer of pianoteq settings to new computer

I have just bought a Mac computer. My previous pc has pianoteq installed on it and I have also installed pianoteq on my Mac.  I have modified quite a few settings in pianoteq on my pc and need my Mac to have all the settings exactly the same. Does anyone know how I can easily transfer the setup of pianoteq on my pc to my Mac. Or do I have to do it all manually?

Perhaps you can copy your .fxp files to a disc . .  then just load into your MAC . .  just a matter of dragging and dropping then.   (I think!)

You could also just put them into the FXP Corner here on Pianoteq.  Then download them into your MAC from the same website.    (I think)

Thanks for that. I'll see if I can get it to work for me. This changeover to a Mac is a lot of relearning but I've been told its worth it!

FXPs are only sounds, I think the guy is talking about Pianoteq options and preferences (keyboard shortcuts, etc.)...

Hard work and guts!

Re: transfer of pianoteq settings to new computer

You can move basically everything  that is in the %APPDATA%/Modartt folder on windows into (HOME)/Library/Application Support/Modartt on the mac, by default everything (preferences, fxps, etc) is stored there.
