Interesting how all the styles played in this video sounded at least good, even the piano not looking like a great model.

I just love this kind of playing so much. Thanks a lot for posting this video.
Just watched this incredible video, and there is another one, about an hour long, concerning New Orleans music. Incredibly great, thanks for the link, Jake Johnson!

Yes, I almost posted a link to it, but there's less music and more talk in it. The music is a nice listen, however: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfxioOwQyK0
I wish he would do an instructional video for Homespun. There's very little out there that I've been able to find about New Orleans piano. Often just blues, many people will say, but it has its own substitutions and rhythms.
What I've found in terms of instruction, all of them from Homespun--The Dr. John series, some of the David Cohen blues piano videos, and the Dr. Ethel Caffie-Austin. There are several good videos of James Booker around. Of course I guess the best step is to move to New Orleans
Jon Cleary is now live steaming solo sessions, recording them to post on Youtube. Asks for donations. Three shows that I see so far, each over an hour long, mixing glances towards background and advice with mostly playing, at least in the first video:

Wish I could see what model of Yamaha piano he's playing. Appears to come with a martini holder. Why is there no such device in Pianoteq?

Maybe one day the synthohol from our Star Trek replicators will be good enough for an officially licensed physically modelled Martini?
