Topic: Pianoteq and jack on Windows

Jack is a commonly known audio-wire application on Linux. Jack is also available for windows. I like to use this on windows because then it's more easy to write Java applications which can interact with other audio-software. Don't ask me why I like to use it because vst is an (accepted) alternative ;-)

Before I mess up my clean windows installation, does anyone know if Pianoteq for windows is jack aware?

Re: Pianoteq and jack on Windows

It is not. But I think that jack on windows works like jack on OS X, that is it shows up as a virtual sound card, so that any app should be able to output to jack.

Re: Pianoteq and jack on Windows

The Jack2 windows port has an "asio router" so asio aware apps can pick it in their device setting. This will make the app visible in the jack graph.
