Topic: Pianoteq 3 -> 4 upgrade question

Hi Modartt, I am about to order Pianoteq 3.0 from an online vendor, and would like to know if:

A) Can I get an upgrade to 3.5 without additional fees?

B) When 4.0 comes out, what will be the upgrade cost, if any?

C) If there is a cost difference between 3.0 and 4.0 and no free upgrade, should I wait? I will kick myself for ordering 3.0 if 4 comes out a month later.

thanks! (ps if the answers I get are positive, I'll order immediately).

Yes.

We cannot tell now but in case we will offer an upgrade price, it will be a fair price. If 4.0 comes out within a year from your first activation of 3.x you will in any case get it for free.

No need to wait.

Re: Pianoteq 3 -> 4 upgrade question

Done!

I'm having a blast and loving it.

The 64 bit version doesn't seem to remember my ASIO sound card latency settings, however, so I'm using the 32 bit one. My sound card is Asus Xonar DX (with real ASIO drivers), and OS is Windows 7 64 bit ultimate.

Good to hear you appreciate it.

Regarding your latency issue, it seems to be a driver issue. You should contact the sound card support, or maybe use a third-party driver such as ASIO4ALL. If you need further assistance, please contact us through the support form. Thank you.
