Topic: Uploaded an Old Dark Bar piano preset

Not sure if it's the piano or the bar that is dark. Not a clean sound or place, though. MY DAMPER PEDAL is on CC4. You may need to change it to CC64.

An experiment with combining strong unison detunings with a closed lid and an extreme setting for the Sound speed. And the binaural head almost on the lid. A strong reduction of the midrange using EQ, too. That's partly why the volume is by default a little low. A few notes have been changed in NE panes, too. Not really satisfied with the lowest bass notes, yet.

The strong unison detuning seems to work better with the lid down--it filters out the higher detuned partials, so that the sound is slightly less jarring or just as jarring, but the detuned unisons are less nasal?

Re: Uploaded an Old Dark Bar piano preset

And I've committed a sacrilege, rendering Piet's second midi improv using this Old Dark Bar preset:

The upper treble doesn't work--too detuned--particularly at the end of the piece, and the bass is once or twice boomy, but many of the midrange passages aren't as I terrible as I feared they would be. An experiment, remember.

Forgive me, Piet?
