Topic: Some music videos are being removed from YouTube

A few companies appear to be tightening up their definition of fair use. Several videos that the rock\pop-oriented among us know have been deleted, with citations about copyright law posted, and the keepvid site seems to be dead. (Some have been reposted, too, though...) May be a sign of things to come.

I would imagine that something similar is happening with jazz and classical videos. Not good. Particularly since the companies don't seem interested in providing these videos for sale. I for one would be happy to pay for these videos with good sound quality and good video...Don't see the point of just removing the videos. I would think that they encourage concert attendance and cd\mp3 sales.

I really don't understant how so many complete films in fine qualitry (for youtube standards) keep so long on youtube.

The last days I found Vertigo and Rear Window, Gone With The Wind, complete films.
