Topic: Pianoteq 3 PRO is out!

Excellent News! Finally the wait is over! It seems there is hasn't been too many changes in the UI for the pro version, which IMHO is very nice. I will buy it as soon as I can put the money on my paypal account.
One aspect that calls my attention is the fact that the fxp from the pro to the standard version are compatible. How can that be possible if the note per note adjustments are only for the pro version? I thought that both versions had different sound engines.
Anyway, congratulations to all the staff of Moddart for this achievement. I will definitely buy an upgrade license ASAP.

Re: Pianoteq 3 PRO is out!

FXP are compatible from Pro to Standart version.  The Standart version can compute the variations from single note, but can't readjust note by note. The exception is the volume control, and detune control, both available in standart version.

Someone with Pro version can create a FXP changing parameter just for few notes, and send to a person with Standart version. But since taste it's very particular the person with Standart version cannot refine those adjustments note by note to his own taste.

Re: Pianoteq 3 PRO is out!

They both have the same engines, except in Standard you can adjust only 2 parameters, and in Pro you can adjust 22 parameters per key. Think of Standard as a Pro LE

Hard work and guts!
