Topic: Note Edit

Can I start a new thread specifically about the new Note Edit screen?

I just want to say I think the user interface for this feature is superb - you got it just right on its very first release! Well done!

Re: Note Edit

Hi Feline,

Glad to hear you like it!

Another important contributor is in fact also the beta team who gave us lots of useful remarks and ideas that guided us in the development of this feature. Thank you all.

Re: Note Edit

All I need now is €150 so I can select "unison width" in that screen, and click "random", and the authenicity of the battered old pianos I always try and create will be so much better!   Oh well, maybe Santa Claus will help out

I think John Cage would have liked this feature a lot

Indeed, that is a virtual certainty.  ;^)

Be sure to play with the Note-Edit's "Spectrum Profile" -- I'm finding it to be one of the most powerful features in the whole program.

You can manipulate the spectrum on each and/or every note, if so desired, or between specific notes, with some nice interpolation performed along the gaps (and please be sure to read the manual examples -- they're _vital_ for understanding how this sucker works!!!).

Thy version 4 come, thy new instruments be done, in the computer as it is in the wood!"

Re: Note Edit

Note edition interface, also available in V3.5 standart for volume and detune, it's really very good, very creative.   Miles ahead from V-Piano interface.
