Topic: With Pianoteq Version3 i tryed to create "My loved Piano-sound"

Hallo  to all Piano-Lovers)

I´n not a good Pianoplayer - but i recorded my  Live-playing ))

http://home.arcor.de/rob.muc/PianoSampl...eq2009.mp3

Here you can listen .  Very bad played,  with a lot of errors....but, what do you think about the sound?

I  achieved this sound with Pianoteq (Version 3 is very very good meanwhile) , it´s the dominating Part of the sound - but not only with Pianoteq  alone.

I tried to avoid this  little bit synthetic Touch.

Ok - don´t be shocked by my bad playing.)))

What´s your opinion about the sound?  In my room  it sounds good with  a  5.1 amplifier,  but mostly i play it in Stereomode on my amplifier, because this gives me more the feeling, i´m  sitting in front of a piano.

BYE BYE,  your exercising  rob.muc)

Sounds much like a recording of an acoustical Piano.
Currently I use a Kawai CP136 - the Mellow Piano sounds much the same; possibly yours is a little better.

I play worse ;-)
I think, at these places where you hit the right keys, you play it with proper timing and fine expression. So I wouldnt say, you play bad. You play quite well - only exercising is missing ;-)

It would be interesting to know, how exactly you produced this sound.

best regards,

Peter

robmuc--Did you use a vst reverb for this recording, or did you use something else?
