Topic: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

Hi, folks!  Just wanted to quickly check if Pianoteq plays well with Apple's new "Snow Leopard" kitty (10.6) -- are we good to go?

(Not that I'll be upgrading immediately -- I always wait a few months.  But just for those Mac users who love to jump right out of the gate...  ;^)

Re: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

Thanks for posting this, dhalfen.
I'll probably be jumping to Snow Leopard a lot sooner than I normally upgrade, for a few reasons with other software. I really want to know if Pianoteq is going to play nicely as-is, or if we'll need to wait for an update.

Yeah, the silence is deafening.  ;^)

Soon enough, I'm sure...  I just hope that the answer is, "All's well!" rather than, "To be fixed in the next update..."

Re: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

Pianoteq seems to work fine in MacOS X 10.6. We have also heard positive reports from a few users who also tried it.

Re: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

Thanks, Niclas!  I didn't really expect any problems, but you never know -- the upgrade from Tiger to Leopard "broke" a lot of things, as I recall, but that was obviously a more significant transition (relatively speaking, both on the surface and under the hood) anyway.

Re: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

I'm running Snow Leopard and haven't had any problems with Pianoteq so far.

Re: Snow Leopard Compatiblity

I rebuilt my MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard, then installed Logic 8 Studio and then Pianoteq 3.  All is working flawlessly so far and blazing fast.
