Topic: Instrument Section (Tuning/Voicing/Design) - where?

Hi all

I recently bought Pianoteq Stage, and today I'm reading through the manual to try to familiarise myself with how it all works.

The manual, chapter 3 (Overview) opens by stating that the pianoteq interface "is divided into two sections" and then goes on to mention an 'instrument section' with an image showing tables for tuning, voicing, and design.

My problem is I do not have these tables. I'm using version 4.2.0 (the latest) - is it that the manual is out of date? Or do I need to do something to open these settings?

Any help greatly appreciated!!

these settings are available in the standard and pro versions, only. IIRC you could only select different tunings in the play version, but that was Pianoteq 3, so I'm not sure if they changed the amount of settings available for stage customers.

Sebion is correct. There is a chart in the manual that shows the differences between 3 versions of Pianoteq. Stage has the least amount of tweaking possible.

Hard work and guts!

Thanks guys.

I suppose I really ought to pay for the upgrade then : )
