Topic: The Bluethner sounds meraviglioso, underbar+härlig, excellent

Just wanted to say I listened to some demo-midi files at the classical demo page and played a bit with the included demo version myself.
It is such an outstanding addition to our already wonderful pianos! Listen to Mendelssohn, or "les tendres plaintes", Schubert, Ravel or some jazz.... I have to live on a budget now, but that one must be added . Beethoven, the opus 31,2 sonata sounds wonderful too in the demo section.

Additionally to the great sound I am most interested in the "basics" of pianos thanks to pianoteq. I had no idea a Bluethner had a fourth string for each key in the treble, or what the Aliquot system was.

During the last weeks I mainly played with the older piano-models, the Graf and all those fortepianos and more. This one is such an outstandingly beautiful addition to all the great grand pianos, a really inspiring piano.

Thanks for this! I'll have to buy immediately, even if the horrible last german Kaiser had one Bluethner too, he he. Well, what does Wilhelm II count, if Abbey road studios had a Bluethner, and Shostakovich had one

One of the things I read in the MUSICPLAYER forum was this ...

Sound-On-Sound has a recommendation in the Pianoteq 4 review this month to turn off all the mics and use the Stereo setup

I can deal with turning off all the mics, but I haven't a clue about USING THE STEREO SETUP part.

Can someone shed some light on this for me ?

Thanks

It's the output mode selector above the VU meter - monophonic, stereo, binaural.

Hard work and guts!
