Topic: Newbie on sound

To be able to play the sounds and hear it through the keyboard's speakers is the audio cable connected
from the laptop to the headphone socket or to the aux out socket on the keyboard.
The demo video only shows the laptop hook up or am I getting confused with the whole set up.

Re: Newbie on sound

From laptop's output into keyboard's audio input (if it has one).

Hard work and guts!

Thanks for your reply ,so in other words you can't play and hear the sounds from the keyboard.
The keyboard I have is a Yamaha PSR-S910 which describes using external audio devices for playback but it means using external powered speakers.

Re: Newbie on sound

The PSR-S910 has an AUX-IN thus you should be able to play laptop sounds through PSR speakers.
The connections are laptop output---->psr aux in

You then probably have to switch psr local OFF otherwise you will trigger both psr and laptop sounds.
