Topic: Hurdy Gurdy

Do you think it's possible to model a Hurdy Gurdy in the future?
I fell in love with the sound of this instrument last summer. I hope one day I'll be able to find a good emulation to play on with my future keyboard. I just thought to share it here, maybe one of the devs will get inspired and consider adding it in a few years schedule.
I have no money, so yeah, I got plenty of time and patience to wait )

Re: Hurdy Gurdy

Why wait?

Im truly sold for pianoteq, having the, in my opinion, best sounding and most versatile piano sound avaliable.

However, I still think that sample libraries are greath for most instruments. If you are using a sample library rather then a model, you know that you are getting the right sound of the instruments, just as long as the production of the sample library was done proper.

Why not get a sampled Hurdy gurdy right away? Im sure youll find several alternatives in a simple google search.

Of course you can also alter the sound of a sample library by using simple eq and reverb.

Good luck !

Hard work and guts!

Re: Hurdy Gurdy

Why not? Because I don't have my keyboard anymore. And I won't have any keys for a long time. I just wanted to remind the devs that this instrument exists, and could be modeled in the far future.
