Topic: Yamaha YPG-225 noise

Hey, i´m new to these forums and need some help with my YPG-225.

So, i have connected it to my laptop with an audio cable (a jack)
and recorded my playing on audacity.
However, i have a big problem with it.
The sound emitted through the cable has this relatively loud static noise to it.
It´s not a clicking noise, as it´s on all the time after connecting and turning the keyboard on.
I´m an amateur composer and i´ve already created many great songs, but they are never gonna be any use, because of the noise.
And yes. I´ve tried the noise remover in Audacity and it doesn´t do really anything.
What i need to know, is how to turn off the noise/get rid of it.

[edit] thanks Chris
